DO YOU HAVE A PRICE LIST?

There are a number of variables that determine the final price of a label order, such as:

  • type of ribbon material
  • finished size of label
  • quantities required; and,
  • complexity of artwork and number of colors

In order to provide you with the most cost-effective solution, we will work with you to define your requirements and then provide you with a firm fixed-price quotation.

Using this customer-focused, consultative approach, we are able to under-cut our competitors' prices while more precisely meeting the needs of our clients.

  WHAT SIZES ARE AVAILABLE?

Apparel, orthotic and necktie labels typically range from:

Length: 1/2" to 5"

  WHAT IS THE DESIGN PROCESS?

If you already know what it is you want...ribbon type and color, ink color, logo design, fonts and layout.. .and of course, quantity... you're all set for production!

However, if you are like most of our customers, we're here to guide you through the process of making those decisions in a way that will get you the most "bang for your buck."

Our experienced team will walk you through the process of determining each aspect of the label design. We will help you with decisions about which colors work best together and what type of ribbon will work best for your specific application. Some things you need to consider are:

  • Where will the label be used (i.e. in clothing, on a tent flap, in a swimsuit)?
  • Where on the label will you be sewing; along the top, on the left and right hand edges or all the way around?
  • Will the label need to be washable or dry cleanable?
  • How big do you want it to be?
  • Do you want to have sizes printed on the label (i.e., S, M, L,XL)?

After 30 years in the business, we've seen just about everything. We'll make sure that you get exactly what you need!

  WHAT IS "ARTWORK"?

"Artwork" is the industry term used to describe the layout and design of the words and images that will make up your label. Our experienced team will work with you to design a label that meets your unique requirements. Our years in the label business have shown us how to maximize the impact of your 'message' or corporate image in the most cost effective way.

If you already have some 'artwork' (a logo, fonts, etc.) that you would like to use, so much the better!

WHAT FILE FORMATS CAN YOU WORK WITH?

We do the majority of our creative work in Corel Draw, although we do support other products. Our preferred method of receiving your existing logo 'images' is digitally via email in any of the following file formats:

  • .EPS
  • .TIF
  • .JPG
  • .WMF
  • .BMP

or, as a file created in any of the following applications:

  • Corel Draw
  • Adobe Photoshop
  • Adobe Illustrator
  • Macromedia FreeHand

You will need to identify the Screen and Printer Fonts used to create your logo (if applicable).  If you have the capability, you can convert your logo fonts to a graphic file using "Convert to Curves/Paths/Outlines" depending on the application in which it was created.

To send artwork please attach to an email and send to jeff@jamylabels.com.  Please remember to include your telephone number so we can get back to you with any questions.

We can, of course, accept clean, sharp artwork on paper via 'snail mail' or courier.

HOW FAST CAN I GET MY ORDER?
We pride ourselves on our ability to turn orders around very quickly and we focus on responding to our clients' unique circumstances. If the production schedule permits, we can often have smaller orders out the door in 2 - 3 days following approval of the artwork.

WHAT ARE THE BALL PARK COSTS?

a) "Set-up Costs" (Typesetting, Engraving)
There is a one-time charge of $75.00 to cover the cost of setting up the label design and having your 'plate' engraved. Repeat orders will not incur this cost. Three size changes are included in the set-up charge (e.g. S, M, L) additional sizes are $10.00 each.

b) Logo Labels:
Minimum order charge is $70.00.
Additional colors, add approx. $6.00/color/1,000 labels. Printing on reverse, add approx. $6.00/1,000 labels.  Price drops as quantities increase.
Example:
1,000 qty of 1-5/16" x 2" labels = $71.00 plus S&H
5,000 qty of 1-5/16" x 2" labels = $46.00/1,000 or $230.00 plus S&H
Please call our experienced team to get a quote for your specific requirements.

We have pre-made plates for most fabric care and content instructions already in-house, so depending on your requirements, a set-up charge may not be required.
